Opportunities in Myanmar

We want to make you aware of two opportunities to serve Fellowship Bible Church.

children-frameThe monsoon season in Myanmar is quickly approaching. It rains daily for several months flooding everything. Last year, the FBC children’s home experienced extensive flooding and the children and house parents had to be evacuated.   In an effort to avoid flooding and damages this year, work has begun to raise the floor of the home. Dirt is being hauled in to elevate the buildings above potential high water levels. Roof repairs are also needed at this time. The estimated need to complete this project is $5,000.

The Thingyan Water Festival is the biggest Buddhist holiday of the year. They believe that the water washes away the bad luck and sins of the previous year.  FBC will hold a children’s camp and Bible camp during the festival to reach out to the Buddhist community. There is a need of $1,200 to print tracts that explain the difference between Christian forgiveness of sins and what the Buddhists believe. This outreach has been very productive in the past.

Please prayerfully consider a gift to support FBC and the impact they are having on the people of Myanmar. Simply click here to help.
